The lounge/dining room - originally the Chai (a barn usually attached to the main house and used for storing the wine barrels) is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The gite is totally centrally heated, but this room has the added bonus of a woodburner for those long winter lets (please enquire about our special rates ) or perhaps Christmas in the Dordogne would make a quiet change? The lounge is very well furnished and includes English TV. comfortable chairs and sofa, writing desk & chair and many occasional tables and lamps - from this room, french doors lead out onto your own large private terrace and garden, where you can sit and have a peaceful breakfast overlooking the beautiful Bajoulan vineyards that surround the house. This room also incorporates the dining area, with a fully stocked dresser and table and chairs for four. There is also a window overlooking the large salt-water swimming pool.
