Issigeac is famed for its' Sunday morning market (pictured above), which is held all year round and the warm and friendly Thursday evening market during July & August where you can sit in the square under the stars with a bottle of wine and sample the local produce. Petit Bajoulan is also close to many other Bastide villages, vineyards, and lots of other attractions for you to visit and enjoy. The beautiful city of Bergerac sitting on the famous Dordogne river is only a 15-20 minute drive away, and a day trip to Bordeaux is easily within reach. If you prefer some sport to work off all the wonderful meals, the area offers golf, horse riding, water sports on the magnificent Dordogne river, tennis and perhaps even a game of Petanque in the village.
